Our goal is to always supply defect free pipe bending products and pipe bending fabrication services to our customers on time. Tulsa Tube Bending management has established a pipe bending quality system that's fully understood and supported by personnel at all levels of our pipe bending organization. We have developed and documented this pipe bending quality system to be compliant with the services and intent of ISO and QS9000 principles. Pipe Bending Services Quality System
Our pipe bending services quality system defines the responsibilities, procedures, pipe bending fabrication processes and management needed to maintain conformance to customer requirements. The services system permeates the fabric and culture of the company's values in planning and control of all aspects of its pipe bending services business.

Pipe Fabrication Document Control
Control of documents is essential to the control of pipe fabrication quality. Ensuring that proper and up-to-date pipe fabrication documents are at the right place when needed is critical. The pipe bending services system also requires that any changed documents have the proper authorization; and that all pipe fabrication documents, whether hard copy or electronic, be securely stored and archived for a set time period.

Purchasing
In order to deliver world class pipe bending products and pipe fabrication services, the requirements of the services quality system must be extended to all pipe bending vendors and pipefabrication suppliers. The method of acquiring pipe bending products and pipe fabrication services to meet the requirements of our customers has been documented. Tulsa Tube Bending is responsible for the production processes which directly affect quality and ensuring that these pipe bending processes are carried out under controlled conditions. A pipe fabrication process manual detailsthe work instructions for all pipe bending processes. Control charts and SPC techniques are used when applicable or required by custom.

Control of Nonconforming Pipe Bending Material
Nonconforming pipe bending material is material that doesn't meet all of the customer requirements or pipe fabrication specifications. There are procedures that prevent the unintended use of nonconforming pipe fabrication material which involve the segregation and disposition of all discrepant pipe bending material. The pipe bending material review board's monthly audits ensure the appropriate controls are in place.

Handling, Storage, Packaging and Delivery
Our pipe bending fabrication procedures state the proper handling devices and surface care for lifting, storage and shipping raw material and finished product. Special customer information is printed on the work order for handling, packaging and shipping instructions when required.

Control of Pipe Bending Fabrication Quality Records

An internal audit process is in place to evaluate the effectiveness of the pipe fabrication services quality system. The audit process is an integral part of the management review process. A complete audit of our pipe bending and fabrication servicesquality system will be conducted at a minimum of once per year.

Pipe Bending Fabrication Employee Development
Pipe fabrication training and pipe bending education are integral ongoing pieces of the continuous improvement culture at Tulsa Tube Bending. All employees are involved in either personal development education or specific pipe fabrication training for job enrichment, certification, quality and safety improvement. Pipe bending training programs are qualified to the standards of the American Welding Society, ASME Code Certification, ANSI & PFI specifications.
